tomb (1400-1392 B.C.).
19th Century Origins
Dr. Ignaz von Peczely (1826-1911): A Hungarian physician and homeopath, Peczely is credited with formalizing the practice of iridology. He noticed changes in the iris of an owl he was caring for and later published a book in 1866 detailing his observations.
